Gumshoe System
The Gumshoe System is published by Pelgrane Press. It does not have a core rule book like many other systems. Instead, its core rules are expressed (and adapted) within the context of its specific settings/games. Those are:
- The Esoterrorists: You are elite investigators tracking down cultists who use occult powers to tear apart the fabric of the world.
- Fear Itself: A straightforward horror setting where ordinary people are faced with existential terror.
- Trail of Cthulhu: Noir Investigators tracking down secret cultists and stopping unspeakable horrors at the cost of their sanity.
- Mutant City Blues: Police officers investigating the crimes of super-powered people.
- Ashen Stars: You are freelance space cops operating on the edge of settled space investigating crimes on the frontier.
- Night’s Black Agents: You are super-spies tasked with investigating and rooting out the menace of vampirism to the international order.
- Dracula Dossier: A NBA Setting where Bram Stoker’s Dracula wasn’t a novel, but a cleaned-up after action report from Britain’s MI6 and MI5. Someone within British Intelligence tried to recruit Dracula as an Agent. Someone else within British Intelligence is trying to stop them. Kenneth Hite literally added to Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Undredacted as a real-world and in-game prop for this wonderful setting.
- Timewatch: You are time cops investigating crimes to the timeline.
- Fall of Delta Green: You are members of the US intelligence service Delta Green in the 1960s, tasked to prevent the horrors of the Cthulhu Mythos from destroying the world.
- Swords of the Serpentine: A fantasy Sword & Sorcery system set in a fantasy Venice.
